Hello, my name is Tami Allaway and I am married to Danny. I have 2 children; a grown up married daughter Amy and a son 17 years younger than his big sister; Oliver Leslie, who is my inspiration for creating this website.

Oliver has various special needs and as his Mum I am very often on the internet searching for information relating to his conditions. There are so many sites out there, some I have found immensely helpful and supportive, more often that not most have given me more worry and heartache.

Although I originally trawled the internet for medical information for each of Oliver's newly diagnosed complications, I was often drawn to personal sites posted by families just the same as ours, each coping with a child with similar needs to Oliver's. I soon came to realise, that what helped us as a family come to terms with all the medical muddle, is that we are not the only family out there with conflicting emotions about coping with a disabled child. That in itself gave us more courage. We are not alone.

So I am not the only Mum out there in this bewildering situation.  I am also not the only Mother of an Oliver Leslie. But I am the only Mother of MY OLIVER LESLIE, and this is his and our journey, his and our story and my website dedicated in honour of my beautiful little boy. x x
